Joining in on the UK red carpet festivities, Cheryl Cole worked the arrivals area at the 2011 BRIT Awards in London, England on Tuesday (February 15).

Held at The O2 Arena, the "X-Factor" darling looked rocker chic in a fitted black dress with plunging back to expose her multiple tattoos as she mingled with fellow attendees including a kiss on the cheek with Peter Andre.

Despite being undeniably gorgeous, Miss Cheryl Cole isn't one to brag about her well-endowed features.
Asked by Cosmo if she thinks she's pretty, Cheryl replied, "No. I don't think anybody thinks that of themselves. It's odd. I often wonder how I look to other people."

Giving a smile and wave to photogs, the British beauty was fresh off a appearing on a live show for the opening round of "The X-Factor"

During the gig, Miss Cole accepted full responsibility for rejecting Gamu Nhengu, as she said, "I could not be happier or prouder. Each one of my girls have done me justice."

Meanwhile, insiders say that the decision came with a bit of pressure over visa concerns, as a source tells, "She [Cheryl] wasn't sure Gamu had the X Factor or that she was right to be one of her walk-in final three. It turned out her own opinion was irrelevant and even if Gamu had been right to pick, Cheryl's hands were tied." (Hollywood Gossip)

Cheryl Cole Comes Down with Malaria

Even unparalleled beauty is no match for malaria.

Soon after a trip to Tanzania last week with boyfriend Derek Hough, Cheryl Cole came down with a case of this dangerous disease. Friends told The Daily Mail that The X Factor judge was rushed to the hospital after a bout of "sweating and shaking" at home.

Cole will remain in the hospital for a few days and will need many weeks to recover from the ailment. Said a source:

"Cheryl hadn't been feeling herself for about a week. She was feeling tired and listless... During Sunday afternoon, Cheryl went downhill quickly. She was sweating and shaking and in a bad way."

A spokesman says a mosquito likely bit his client and added: "Following doctors' advice, Cheryl Cole will be canceling all work commitments for the next week."
