2011 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Nominations

2011 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Nominations

It’s that time of the year again- the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards show is just around the corner, and the 2011 hopefuls have just been announced.

Kristen Stewart will compete against Miley Cyrus, Ashley Judd, and Emma Watson for the Favorite Movie Actress trophy.

Additionally, Jack Black has been invited to host the gig, making his third appearance since 2006. He told press, "Anyone can host something once. But if they ask you back a second time, that means they liked the way you did it. And if you host a third time, that means the first time wasn't a fluke, and it means you did good two times. So the third time, well - that's the real achievement."

Robert, Kristen and Taylor Land Spots in Top 40 Earners List

Robert, Kristen and Taylor Land Spots in Top 40 Earners List

Certainly doing quite well for themselves, the stars of "Twilight" all made the cut in Vanity Fair's list of Hollywood's 40 most powerful players.

Offering up the who's who rundown in their March 2011 issue, VF places Taylor Lautner in 9th ($33.5 mil), Kristen Stewart at 13th ($28.5 mil) and Robert Pattinson in 15th ($27.5 mil).

As for the cream of the crop, "Avatar" producer/director James Cameron came out on top by grabbing the no. 1 ranking with a comfy $257 million.

Other high earners included Johnny Depp in 2nd ($100 mil), Steven Spielberg in 3rd ($80 mil), Christopher Nolan in 4th ($71.5 mil) and Leonardo DiCaprio in 5th ($62 mil) while Jennifer Aniston fell into the 18th slot with $24.5 million.

Behind the Scenes with Kristen Stewart...

Kristen Stewart is featured in the latest issue of Vogue.

In speaking to the magazine, the actress opens up about Twihards and life in the spotlight, as recounted HERE. Touching on Rilo Kiley singer Jenny Lewis, Kristen gushes:

"She's the only person I've ever met that I can't function around."

Kristen Stewart also poses for a number of (HEAVILY photoshopped) pictures with photographer Mario Testino, many of which didn't even make it into the magazine. Below, Stewart takes us behind the scenes of this shoot. Readers can then click on several shots from the pictorial...

Kristen Stewart suffers press nerves

Kristen Stewart has revealed that she still suffers nerves when speaking to the press, which results in her smelling "bad".

The Twilight actress said that she never prepares before speaking to journalists, but that gaining experience has made her feel more at ease in interviews.

She told Stylist: "Practice helps a lot. You just get so nervous... I don't know how to deal with it. I don't prepare anything, I just do it so it's gotten easier with experience.

"You realise that even if you totally botch it and [it] turns out horribly and everyone thinks you're totally incapable, it's like, 'It doesn't really directly affect me'."

She added: "When I'm nervous, I'm so mindless. I twiddle my thumbs and my hands sweat and I smell bad." (taheena)

Will Kristen Stewart Get a Dragon Tattoo?

Summit Entertainment

Damn.

An unofficial shortlist has surfaced that lists Sony Pictures' top candidates for who should nab the starring role in their adaptation of Stieg Larsson's global megaseller The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. And guess who isn't on the list?

Kristen Stewart, the lady who we think should have landed the role a long time ago, is still being looked over. And it's all because those K.Stew haters can't see past their ruddy little noses to recognize the talent that darling K. has been quietly showing off—everywhere but Twilight! Open your eyes, Hollywood!

Here's the scoop on the Stewart-less situation:

EW reports that Sony set a release date for the flick, even though the movie's lead role of Lisbeth Salander has yet to be cast. A rumored shortlist has made its way through the circuit, with a bevy of young up-and-comers from the recognizable to the obscure.

Arguably worthy actresses on the list include Ellen Page (Inception), Carey Mulligan (An Education), and Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland), as well as more low-key talent like Rooney Mara (Nightmare on Elm Street), Emily Browning (Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events), and...you know what? Don't even care!

We feel so strongly about this one, dolls: this is the role that will transform Kristen from a tween favorite to a genuine Academy-recognized babe—as needs to happen. We know Kristen was mentioned as a possible candidate before, but it seems the tides have turned and she's almost surely out.

Lisbeth is a struggling, angst-ridden, sexually combustible (and very take-charge) brilliant young girl, and we think Kristen has the perfect everything for it. Hell, we even picture her when we're reading the books! (eonline.com)

First love haunts Kristen

Kristen Stewart still thinks about her first love. The 'Twilight Saga' actress — who is rumoured to be dating her co-star Robert Pattinson — admits she is still plagued with thoughts about her first boyfriend, even though she was left devastated by their split.

She said: "Everybody says the first cut if the deepest. It's so true. I don’t know if it's because it's the best love, but it's the first that you remember.

"There is one boy that I will remember for the rest of my life, and I wouldn't go as far as to say, 'Oh I was in love with him and he broke my heart'. You hold on to that, just that first experience, it's good to have and you should appreciate it, even if it hurts."

Despite being known for her aversion to fame, Kristen admits one of the biggest perks of her job is her involvement in the fashion industry and access to beautiful clothes.

She added: "I like fashion because it's sort of my job, so I'm into it when I have to be. But when I'm not working, I wear jeans and T-shirts. I go to vintage stores all the time to find funky T-shirts."

Kristen Stewart to Twihards: Don't Murder Me!

We mean this with all due respect, but perhaps Kristen Stewart should quit acting. She really doesn't seem to enjoy the spotlight, does she?

Aside from making inappropriate comments (such as comparing the paparazzi to rapists, which she quickly apologized for), the actress comes across as painfully awkward in interviews. It's refreshing, but it's also just strange.

Now, in an interview with British magazine Hello!, Stewart admits that she has serious fear of fame. Especially fame at the level she's achieved.

"I don't feel very comfortable on the red carpet," she said. "I look out there at a thousand people and I realize they could rush me and assassinate me. No security could protect me. Ostensibly they're fans, but I think about them turning on me."

Very Shy StewartKristen in NYC

Kristen says she "struggles to keep myself from crying" during public appearances and shows many signs of social anxiety disorder, a legitimate phobia that is triggered by perceived scrutiny from those around you.

There is good news for Stewart: at least she can go home and have Robert Pattinson hold her tightly every evening.

Kristen Stewart Has Political Enemies

Kristen Stewart
Stars say the darnedest things! They also say the dumbest things, like everything that comes out of Mel Gibson’s hairy mouthhole and the time Kristen Stewart likened wearing a $3000 dress and walking the red carpet to being raped. Several rape awareness groups told Kristen she was being a dipshit, and she apologized, so now she’s using a different simile to describe her harrowing, agonizing life as the beloved millionaire star of a successful film franchise. Via Popeater:
“I don’t feel very comfortable on the red carpet,” [Stewart] said. “I look out there at a thousand people and I realize they could rush me and assassinate me. No security could protect me. Ostensibly they’re fans, but I think about them turning on me.”
Yes, she’s exactly like the Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. They ended slavery and pushed for civil rights and Kristen Stewart bit her lip in a bunch of movies and mimed kissing a guy with glitter glued to his chest. She’s a regular Benazir Bhutto, that one.
