Heads turned at L.A.'s Chateau Marmont last week. That's because Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson, who filed for divorce late last year, walked in.

Together.

Scarlett did most of the talking in "a rollercoaster conversation," according to reports. She would at some points smile, then appear to fight back tears.



Turns out it wasn't just a nightcap, either. The pair also dined at L.A.'s Little Door earlier that night and "seemed comfortable," reports a close source.

"There are no plans to reconcile, but they’re still close," adds an insider.


There are also logistical matters better resolved in person: "They have divorce details to work out, they'd rather do it face-to-face than in some office."

Ryan has been linked to Sandra Bullock, falsely, while a rep for ScarJo denied that she's dating Jason Sudeikis. She was also seen with Justin Long.

X17 is reporting that Scarlett and Ryan were photographed talking intimately over a romantic dinner at ‘The Little Door‘. It was private… but not private enough to keep the meeting out of the rags. It makes me think this public meeting was their way of letting the press know they are back together.

“It was surprising. Everyone in the restaurant was whispering about the two of them being together — we all knew they had announced their divorce. The reservation was made for a private table and they sat there talking – very seriously, very intimately. It wasn’t overtly romantic, but they seemed like two people who were together, no doubt. There was no tension, no conflict. They chuckled every once in a while and generally enjoyed the evening. They didn’t look like two people who had recently broken up.”

Well, isn’t this great news! Guess Scarlett really wasn’t on a date with Justin Long after all!

The “In Good Company” babe and the “Dodgeball” star tried to look as inconspicuous as possible as they left the Wiltern and headed off into the night.

Of course, given her newfound singlehood, Scarlett is rumored to be dating Justin, just after rumors of her romance with Jason Sudeikis began to dissipate.

Her rep told press, “Scarlett is not dating Jason, nor is she dating anyone for that matter. It was just a friendly outing amongst friends.”

A source is quoted by Britain’s Daily Express newspaper as saying: “Scarlett is still very young and is aware the roles she takes are going to set out where her career as an actress takes her in the future.

“She doesn’t want to fall into being too controversial or too trashy so nude scenes are out for now.”
